The Ethical Review Process

Every organisation we visit is carefully reviewed using a transparent, evidence based framework that prioritises animal welfare, ethical practices, and conservation impact. From enclosure conditions and diet to staff treatment and financial transparency, we assess what really goes on behind the scenes.

These reviews aren’t sponsored or sugar coated, they’re honest, independent, and grounded in firsthand experience. Whether you’re planning a visit or looking to support ethical wildlife organisations, our reviews help you make informed, compassionate choices.

All reviews are written from my own perspective and experiences while visiting wildlife sanctuaries and tourism venues. I have a background in zoology and conservation, which gives me insight into animal welfare and ethical practices. However I do not claim to be an expert in all fields. My aim to give supporters a clearer picture of what’s happening behind the scenes so they can make more ethical choices.

We always encourage readers to use these reviews as a guide, but also to do their own research, ask questions, and think critically about any wildlife experience.
